The Antique Mechanics Society is sponsored by the Department of
Biological and Agricultural Engineering and is comprised of interested alumni
and community members who support the Antique Mechanics Program at the University
of California, Davis. The purpose of the society is to generate funds, to provide
technical support and to guide the future of the Antique Mechanics Club.
The continuation of the restoration efforts depends on generous donations and
support from people who believe in the importance of preserving California's
agricultural heritage. This support is vital to the club's ongoing projects.
The Antique Mechanics Society affords you the opportunity to be a part of the
preservation of California's agricultural history. Your membership in the Antique
Mechanics Society and your support of the student club will help strengthen
restoration efforts.
Members of the Antique Mechanics Society are invited to an annual general meeting
and barbecue at the facility and will receive a semiannual newsletter containing
information about club and society activities, upcoming projects and future
exhibits.
